Mission Statement

The mission is to provide strategies and treatment services for families to improve the quality of their lives.  CLASS services include the use of evidence-based models and health promotion strategies to engage the community, increase awareness and to inspire lifestyle, behavioral and environmental change. 


Vision Statement

 The vision of CLASS is to be a community leader recognized for being supportive of every individual achieving optimal social and mental well-being and for inspiring community members to live a meaningful life.

Agency Information 

​The CLASS Agency is a non-profit, 501© 3-tax exempt and CARF (Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities) Accredited organization.  The agency’s administrative offices are located at 22000 Grand River ave Detroit, Michigan (in the Artist Village northwest community).  The agency is licensed by the State of Michigan-LARA (Licensing and Regulatory Affair) to provide Prevention, Intervention, and Substance Use Disorder (SUD) Treatment.  The agency has a full-3 year accreditation by CARF to provide prevention educational strategies to both adults and children; additionally the agency is accredited to provide outpatient SUD treatment for adults, teens, and children.

At CLASS we aim to provide resources to everyone regardless of Gender, Ethnicity, or any other identifier. In order to accomplish this goal we have resources available to make CLASS accessible to those with limited English proficiency. When asking about CLASS services be sure to inquire about these services if you or a loved one may require translation services free of charge
